Roma are extending their list of potential candidates to replace Rui Patricio in the summer.
The Portuguese veteran is expected to leave the Giallorossi after concluding three-year deal. As a result, Roma are eagerly scouting for replacements in Italy and abroad.
According to calciomercato.it, the latest name to have drawn interest from Roma is that of Werder Bremen shot-stopper Michael Zetterer. The capital club are said to be very appreciative of his technical qualities and his ability to contribute to playing out from the back.
Zetterer, however, is one of the hottest names in Germany’s top flight – several English clubs are interested in him.
