Roma is intensifying negotiations for Jayden Oosterwolde, a defender currently at Fenerbahçe, with the aim of strengthening their defensive line.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Oosterwolde’s name will be a key topic in today’s meeting with Friedkin’s management at Trigoria.

Interest in the Dutch defender has materialized in recent weeks.

Oosterwolde already has Serie A experience, having played for Parma between January 2022 and January 2023, and could represent added value for Roma.

His familiarity with the Italian league is considered a positive aspect in the overall evaluation.

The Dutch defender is known for his tactical versatility, being able to play both as a central defender and a fullback, as well as possessing remarkable physicality.

Oosterwolde’s arrival could also facilitate the integration and development of young defenders like Ziolkowski and Ghilardi.

Alongside more experienced players, both could further develop their skills.

The player’s potential arrival could therefore strengthen the defensive line and contribute to the team’s growth for future seasons.

In recent days, initial contact has been made with the player’s agent, and it appears that Roma has already initiated negotiations with Fenerbahçe.
