Roma remain very active in the final hours of the transfer window.
The Giallorossi are looking to complete the addition of two new defenders including Tiago Djalo from Juventus following the collapsed move of Kevin Danso.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma are now also looking to sign veteran defender Mats Hummels.
The German centreback is still a free agent after leaving Borussia Dortmund at the end of June.
According to Di Marzio, Roma have officially opened talks with Hummels – negotiations are underway with the German international currently being Roma’s top target for the defense.
