Roma are attempting a last-minute move for Oscar Gloukh, the young Israeli talent owned by Red Bull Salzburg.
According to the Telegraaf, the Giallorossi have made last-minute moves to enter the negotiations, which have seen Ajax clearly ahead for days.
The Dutch club had already reached a preliminary agreement with Salzburg worth €15 million plus bonuses, but interest from Trigoria has reportedly slowed the deal, prompting Ajax to speed up the process to avoid surprises.
Roma has contacted the Austrian club and is working on a formal proposal to try to overtake them.
