Hermoso’s injury against Torino will shape Roma’s final transfer window.

The Spaniard suffered a grade II tear to his iliopsoas and, at best, will be out for a month.

Gasperini has therefore asked Massara to prioritize the acquisition of a central defender.

Radu Dragusin is in pole position – as Il Corriere dello Sport reports.

The Romanian defender would gladly return to Serie A after stints with Genoa and Juventus.

The deal is set, but Tottenham are holding up the wall, demanding €20 million right away. But that’s not the only obstacle.

After long awaiting a turnaround in the transfer market, Dragusin would like to enjoy the serenity of his marriage to Ioana, which will be celebrated today, Tuesday, January 20th, in a civil ceremony in Bucharest.

Massara, however, cannot sit idly by. The Giallorossi sporting director can still count on a €15 million nest egg – as the newspaper adds – to complete the strengthening operation, preferring loans with an option to buy rather than permanent signings.
