Gian Piero Gasperini’s favorite to strengthen the attack is Mason Greenwood, but that’s no longer news.

The 24-year-old Marseille player, who attended the French club’s training camp yesterday and personally met with new coach Genesio, appears close to leaving France this summer.

The Trigoria club remains strongly interested, but only under the right conditions.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, the Roman club is reportedly considering the move. Atlético Madrid currently appears to have withdrawn, as they appear to be targeting Lee from PSG.

At that point, at least for now, Roma and Fenerbahce would be strong contenders for the former Manchester United player, who reportedly demanded a salary of over €6 million compared to his initial request of €5 million.

In-depth consideration is underway at Trigoria: they like his profile, but the deal to bring him to the capital would be quite costly.

The transfer expert denies direct contact with Gasperini, but confirms that the Giallorossi have put him at the top of their wish list to provide the Piedmontese coach with a strengthened attack.
