Roma are steadily improving their defensive record, allowing very few shots on goal and maintaining an increasing number of clean sheets which has enabled the Giallorossi to climb near the top of the league table and advance to the next round of Europa League playoffs.
As stated in Corriere dello Sport, Roma’s defence is only behind Napoli and Juventus, having conceded a mere 8 goals in 12 games in 2023.
The Giallorossi have also kept 7 clean sheets. This, in turn, has given Mourinho’s team more stability.
