Gianluca Di Marzio has reported this evening that Roma are prepared to make midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini one of the pillars for their future.
The youngster currently has a €30 million buyout clause in his contract, which is payable in two installments. The Giallorossi, though, have already communicated to the youngster’s entourage that they want to make Pellegrini a focal point for the future as contract renewal talks have commenced.
The discussions between the parties are still in their infancy and will likely continue until the end of the season to allow the midfielder to calmly evaluate the proposal.
Pellegrini has every intention of remaining with the Giallorossi despite the low release in his current deal as both parties intend on continuing their adventure together.
