Daniele De Rossi and Roma’s management are planning the team’s pre-season training ahead of next season.

Later today, the Giallorossi are expected to land in Italy following a long flight from Australia where they played an international friendly with Milan to conclude the season.

Upon returning to the capital, De Rossi and his men will go their separate ways as the players will be granted a few weeks of holidays.

De Rossi, in the meantime, will be busy planning with his staff the upcoming pre-season training.

Today’s edition of Il Romanista presents a rough outline of how Roma’s pre-season will look like.

Roma will regroup later this month at Trigoria.

The first half of pre-season will take place at Roma’s usual training center of Fulvio Bernardini.

Then, the team will fly to an location that is not yet well defined for a second part of the workout.

Roma wish to prioritize a cool environment where training can be easier to avoid overheating.

The portal informs that some proposals from exotic locations have been turned down by the club: Roma refuse to stage their pre-season in any faraway location that might compromise the player’s level of fitness and cause unnecessary fatigue.
