Mile Svilar is preparing to start a new season as a protagonist with Roma.

After a year that saw him establish himself as a starter between the posts, the Serbian goalkeeper, who recently became a father, is ready to return to Trigoria with enthusiasm and a great sense of responsibility.

As reported by Il Corriere dello Sport, the Giallorossi management has decided to secure Svilar’s long-term future, rejecting any offer received in recent weeks.

The desire shared by Ranieri, Massara and the new coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, is clear: to build a new solid and competitive cycle from the goalkeeper too.

For this reason, the signature on the renewal is expected in the next few days: a contract that, taking advantage of the recent regulatory changes on sports contracts, will last up to eight years.

The salary, which will exceed 3 million net per season plus bonuses, confirms Svilar’s centrality in the technical project.
