The Italian winger was recently declared up for sale by the Bianconeri who are already looking for his replacement.
Chiesa’s time in Turin has come to an end and Juventus have made it a point to sell him before the end of the summer.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Roma resumed talks with Chiesa’s entourage in the aftermath of Italy’s exit from the Euro’s.
Chiesa’s disappointing display at the tournament with Italy could further lower his price tag and boost Roma’s chances.
According to the newspaper, Roma are scheduled to meet with Chiesa’s agent one more time to deepen discussions before submitting a first bid to Juventus.
