Roma are reportedly back on the tracks of Italian midfielder Davide Frattesi.

The Giallorossi are said to have renewed their interest in the former Sassuolo player who last year completed a move to Inter.

Frattesi is Daniele De Rossi’s ideal reinforcement for Roma’s midfield.

The Roma boss has asked the club to secure an additional midfield signing, preferably someone with pace and goal-scoring abilities.

Thus, Il Messaggero states that Frattesi seems to fit the bill.

According to the Italian newspaper, Roma are once more interested in Frattesi also because of the convenience of his potential signing: the capital club still hold a right to 30% of the final fee Inter are supposed to pay Sassuolo.

Securing Frattesi would thus be much easier under these circumstances although the player would also have to show interest in relocating only a year after joining Simone Inzaghi’s squad.
