Roma still in contact with Bodo/Glimt’s Ola Solbakken

Andy Mattioli

Roma are considering further reinforcing their offensive line in the final days of this year’s transfer window with the name of Ola Solbakken being once again linked with the capital club. The Norwegian attacker was a target for the Giallorossi earlier in the summer, but with the arrival of Paulo Dybala a deal for the 23-year-old got sidetracked.

However – according to Il Messaggero – Roma have renewed their interest in Solbakken and remain in contact with the player’s entourage.

The young forward was reportedly tempted by proposals from Napoli and Eintracht Frankfurt, but failed to reach any agreement so far given his status as a free agent in December later this year.

The Italian newspaper claims that Roma could attempt advancing a proposal in the coming days. If the attempt were to be unsuccessful, the capital club could possibly bring in Solbakken as a free agent in the January window.
