Roma are locked in a race for Sporting Braga striker Simon Banza.
The Congolese striker is one of the rumored candidates to replace Romelu Lukaku in the Italian capital.
Coming off an impressive season in Portugal’s top flight with 21 goals and 4 assists, Banza is reportedly eyeing a move elsewhere this summer.
Roma are among the listed destinations for the 27-year-old.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Giallorossi’s meeting with agent Fali Ramadani will serve to discuss, among other things, Banza’s situation.
The newspaper claims that Ramadani will be meeting with Roma on the behalf of three players that Roma have shown interest in: Federico Chiesa, Simon Banza and Jeremie Boga.
Roma technical director Florent Ghisolfi is very familiar with Banza having previously worked together at Lens for two seasons.
