Roma are aiming to secure Galatasaray’s Victor Nelsson as their next defensive reinforcement.
The capital club have prioritized the addition of the Danish centreback after halting discussions for Mika Marmol of Las Palmas and Empoli’s Saba Goglichidze.
As confirmed by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma are now in talks with Galatasaray for Nelsson’s transfer.
Nelsson represents a more favorable and experienced option compared to Marmol and Goglichidze.
The Giallorossi are hopeful they can get him on loan with a buy option which would favor a more sustainable investment.
Di Marzio reports that Roma could get the deal done in the next hours ahead of the transfer deadline.
