Roma want to prioritize the ascent of Mile Svilar from Rui Patricio’s back-up to a regular starter for the club.
In recent months, the Giallorossi have made repeated use of Svilar in their Europa League campaign and there is the feeling that Patricio could soon begin to feature less for Mourinho’s side as Roma shift their attention to Svilar’s development.
According to Leggo, if the experiment with Svilar were to prove unsuccessful, the capital club are ready to make an important investment in the goal-keeping position in the summer.
The number one candidate for the job remains Monza’s shot-stopper, Michele Di Gregorio.
