Roma have reportedly turned down free agent Jerome Boateng.

The ex-Bayern Munich defender is still a free agent after concluding his disappoint spell at Lyon amidst domestic abuse allegations.

Over recent weeks, Boateng is said to have offered himself to Roma seeing as the Giallorossi have been afflicted by several injuries in their defense.

However, according to Tuttosport, Roma are not interested in Boateng and rejected his proposal.

The capital club will focus on other potential candidates to strengthen the defense ahead of the January window.
