Among the reinforcements requested by Gian Piero Gasperini to complete Roma’s attack is a replacement for Donyell Malen.

The Giallorossi coach has reportedly identified Nicolò Tresoldi as the ideal candidate to complete the lineup, focusing on a young, promising striker.

Artem Dovbyk, in fact, is not part of the coach’s plans, as he considers the Italian-German striker the most suitable option. The 2004-born player has reportedly already expressed his willingness to move to the capital.

Negotiations for Tresoldi, however, are far from straightforward. Club Brugge, aware of their striker’s value and potential, continue to demand a significant fee to let him go and appear unwilling to offer any discounts.

According to Il Tempo, Roma is working to reduce the Belgian club’s asking price, aiming to close the deal at €25 million. The gap between Roma’s offer and Brugge’s asking price remains, but discussions are continuing with the aim of finding a compromise.
