Roma’s swap deal with Torino for Zalewski-Bellanova takes shape

Andy Mattioli

Roma and Torino are said to be working on a deal that includes Nicola Zalewski and Torino’s Raoul Bellanova.

Corriere dello Sport reports a swap deal involving the pair is beginning to take shape. Bellanova is reportedly Daniele De Rossi’s preferred reinforcement for the right back role, considering him compatible in his 4-3-3 system and an ideal replacement for Rick Karsdorp.

The Dutchman is on his way out of the club with AEK Athens being the main team linked with him.

Meanwhile, the Granata have shown interest in Roma’s Nicola Zalewski, whose future at the club is in major doubt.

The Polish international will soon conclude his brief experience at the Euros with the national team and make his return to Rome. His future seems bound to play out elsewhere as he no longer fits Roma’s plans.
