The future of Romelu Lukaku is yet to be written as the Belgian superstar remains the object of much transfer speculation.

Big Rom is in fact being talked about as one of the major players to seek another transfer this summer following his loan move to Roma.

With his loan in the Italian capital winding to an end, Corriere dello Sport reports that Lukaku is hoping to extend his stay at Roma, but cannot be sure of what fate holds in store for him as Chelsea continue to refuse to lower their demands for him.

The Blues are in fact asking for a minimum fee of €44 million ahead of the summer window.

Roma are highly unlikely to be able to match this sum even if they were to qualify for Champions League football next year.

In the meantime, Lukaku is being eyed by several other clubs in Italy and abroad with links to Napoli and Saudi Pro League, among others.
