Roma goal-keeper Rui Patricio’s heroics against Juventus helped lift the Giallorossi over Massimiliano Allegri’s men. Jose Mourinho hopes to have the same Patricio positively impact tomorrow night’s Europa League clash with Real Sociedad.
Before the match, the Portuguese shot-stopper shared his thoughts on the importance of veteran players in the squad for nights in European competitions.
“It’s an important match for us, I think experience counts given how we prepare for it, but we must always do our best regardless of age or status,” Patricio told Sky Sport.
“Real Sociedad are a difficult team, this season the Europa League is like the Champions League, there are teams with a lot of quality.
