Earlier this evening, Sassuolo executive Giovanni Carnevali expressed his frustration at Jose Mourinho’s comments from a week ago.
The Italian director reacted to Mourinho’s claim that some Sassuolo players seem to be oblivious to Fair Play rules, especially attacker Domenico Berardi.
“We already expressed our opinion last week,” Carnevali told DAZN. “I believe that with regards to Fair Play, hospitality, and above all, respect for opponents, no one can or should teach Sassuolo anything. We know all about it.”
“We, the managers and club executives, must be the ones who give the right teachings because we play a beautiful sport followed by young people and we must teach many things such as basic forms of respect.”
