Eldor Shomurodov is leaving Roma and preparing to become a new player for Basaksehir.

Following the agreement between the two clubs, the Uzbek striker arrived in Istanbul this morning for a medical, as reported by journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu.

Once he passes the medical, Shomurodov will sign a new contract with the Turkish club.

Shomurodov will therefore move to Basaksehir on a loan.

Roma will earn €3 million upfront, followed by €2.7 million as a mandatory buy clause.

With the former Genoa player’s departure, the Giallorossi are already working on a replacement: the hottest candidate is Brighton’s Evan Ferguson.
