Lorenz Assignon’s arrival to the Italian capital is only a matter of time.

The French right-back is one step away from joining the Giallorossi, reports Sky Sport journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

According to Di Marzio, the negotiations between clubs are down to the final details.

Roma and Rennes are discussing the details of a loan with obligation to buy which would allow Assignon to join Roma in the coming days.

Rennes has opened up to Roma’s offer of a 1 million euro loan, with an obligation of 9 million euros.

The French club would like to move an extra million on the loan, thus moving it up to 2, as well as changing something related to the payment terms (over the years) of the total amount.

The negotiation, however, has now reached its final stages.
