Roma have made progress in their talks for Mile Svilar’s contract renewal.
The capital club have prioritized the goalkeeper’s renewal in light of Gian Piero Gasperini’s imminent appointment.
According to Gianlucadimarzio.com, today’s meeting between Roma and Mile Svilar and his entourage, which also included Claudio Ranieri as a “guarantor”, brought a more serene atmosphere.
In recent days, a tense situation had arisen between the goalkeeper’s entourage and the club, but now the parties are closer to an agreement.
The goalkeeper’s agent has reportedly never asked for the inclusion of a release clause or commissions.
The amount requested for the renewal would be around 3 million euros, and in the coming days the parties will try to reach an agreement.
