Roma are confirmed to have opened negotiations for Aston Villa attacker Donyell Malen.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, talks are are underway with Aston Villa to bring the 1999-born player to the capital on loan and to secure the player’s approval.
The Dutchman has struggled to secure a consistent starting spot recently, despite appearing in several FA Cup matches, and may therefore decide to leave the Premier League.
This would be the player’s first experience in Italy after touring Europe, including the Netherlands with Ajax and PSV, Germany with Dortmund, and England with Arsenal and his current club, Aston Villa.
