After their 2-0 defeat to Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, Slavia Praha manager Jindrich Trpisovsky analyzed his side’s performance.

“Roma were better than us and demonstrated their technical quality,” Trpisovsky told the media in his post-match media appearance.

“We didn’t play well in the first 15 minutes of the first half, we conceded two goals by losing the ball and we didn’t play well, we didn’t press well and showed no courage.”

“In the second half we had a good start, but Roma have a good defense and they tried to take advantage of our mistakes. We tried to score, but they didn’t allow us to do so.”

“Roma’s victory is fully deserved, for us it is it was a great way to learn what a great performance looks like and what we need to do to win.”
