Luciano Spalletti is set to lead Italy one last time tonight as they face Moldova to still have a chance to qualify to the next World Cup.

Prior to the match, the ex-Napoli coach answered questions from the media.

In particular, Spalletti was asked about the rumors of Claudio Ranieri being the top candidate to replace him.

“I don’t know, but he is a person and a professional who has shown his qualities also with Roma this year, he touches the right keys and if it were him I would support him,” said Spalletti who was sacked on Sunday.

“I would root for him,” added the Tuscan coach.
