Leonardo Spinazzola and Renato Sanches may both miss what is likely going to be their last opportunity to play for Roma.

The two players have been nursing injuries over recent weeks and have yet to resume group training ahead of the final game of the season versus Empoli.

As reported by Il Tempo, Spinazzola – who initially wanted to be there for the team’s trip to Tuscany – is still struggling to complete individual training sessions following the injury he picked up against Bayer Leverkusen.

Meanwhile, Sanches is fatigued and unlikely to be involved in any group activities.

For both it is the end of the road – Sanches will return to PSG after concluding his disappointing loan spell in the Italian capital, whereas Spinazzola will become a free agent after spending 5 seasons at Roma.
