Yahoo Sport France has reported that Stade Rennais are interested in Roma’s Steven Nzonzi. The Giallorossi are looking to sell the Frenchman and one of the solutions could be a move to Ligue 1. Manager Julien Stéphan is, reportedly, an admirer of the midfielder and would like to try and bring him to Rennes. A big hurdle for the operation, though, are Nzonzi’s wages: the ex-Sevilla man currently earns €3 million (net) per season. Stade Rennais, however, could propose a loan with an option to buy for Nzonzi.
