The tug-of-war between Roma and Boca Juniors for Leandro Paredes continues.

The Argentine midfielder has long expressed the desire to return to wearing the Xeneizes shirt, but the negotiation remains blocked.

As reported by Tycsports.com, Boca Juniors aims to close the operation at a lower figure than the termination clause of 3.5 million, which according to Trigoria expired last June 30, while for the player’s entourage and the Argentine club it would still be valid.

For days, the representatives of Roma’s number 16 have been in direct contact with the Giallorossi leadership to seek an agreement that satisfies all parties.

Paredes’ goal is clear: to return home as soon as possible. Roma, however, does not intend to make discounts and remains firm on its economic demands.

The next few hours could be decisive to see if the stalemate will be unblocked.
