Roma are in pursuit of their next sporting director with Monza executive Francois Modesto being the leading candidate.
The capital club are yet to appoint the successor of Tiago Pinto who departed the Giallorossi in February.
After several weeks, the search for Pinto’s replacement seems to have narrowed down to a handful of candidates with Francois Modesto in pole position to land the job.
According to Corriere dello Sport, talks between Roma and Modesto continue thanks to his rapport with Roma CEO Lina Souloukou.
A close second option on Roma’s list is reportedly Fiorentina director and ex-Giallorossi player Nicolas Burdisso.
