Bologna manager Thiago Motta continues being linked with a switch to the Italian capital.

The Italian technician’s impressive start this season has earned him the interest and attention of several top clubs in the country’s top flight.

Earlier today, reports suggested Bologna intend to try and lock Motta with a new long-term deal until 2026 as his current contract expires in two years.

According to Tuttosport, Motta has yet to give his OK to the idea of renewing his deal with Bologna.

The manager is tempted by the interest surrounding his name.

Roma, among others, remain at the window since Jose Mourinho’s future is still unclear. The newspaper claims that Motta is the Giallorossi’s main alternative to Mourinho ahead of next season.

The report also states that Napoli and Milan are also in the race for the young technician.
