Newly arrived Roma player Tommaso Baldanzi shared insights from his first week with the Giallorossi.

In a lengthy interview for the AS Roma Podcast, Baldanzi discussed various topics related to his move to the Italian capital.

“It’s been a beautiful and intense week from an emotional point of view. I met my teammates, the coach and the staff who work in this immense sports center. I’m happy to be here and I was very happy to have played my first match at the Olimpico.”

“I’m happy for the welcome this city gave me, I am grateful to the fans for their love.”

“The Friedkins wanted me? For me it is a source of great pride, not pressure, I thanked them and I continue to thank them. I hope I can repay the trust they have placed in me.”

“The Olimpico makes a great impression even when you come here as an opponent, but experiencing it as a Roma player with a crowd that pushes you like this is very beautiful and motivating.”

“My new teammates? I think it’s important to have someone like Gianluca Mancini – someone with a really strong personality. Him and Dean [Huijsen] are very strong defenders.”
