Torino president Urbano Cairo was satisfied with his team’s effort in last night’s 1-1 draw with Roma.

The Granata scored an important equalizer only minutes away from the full-time whistle.

In his post-match reaction, Cairo told reporters, “Good game, and a really good team performance. We played an excellent first half.”

“In the end we made an amazing comeback which wasn’t easy,” he added. “The team did well and Zapata was phenomenal. He’s got an incredible physical presence and can lead the attack on his own.”

“I thought Buongiorno was also amazing. Despite seeing an in-form Lukaku who’s playing well, Buongiorno did an amazing job in anticipating him at every turn. Great match from our defense.”
