Villa Stuart was crowded this morning.

Paulo Dybala went to the medical facility to undergo arthroscopic surgery, necessary after the knee pain he experienced yesterday in training worsened.

At the same time, Francesco Totti’s presence at the clinic attracted the attention of the many fans present.

The former captain, asked directly about the possibility of an imminent return to Roma management, responded with a terse: “I don’t think so.”

His comments come just days after a meeting that had raised hopes within the Giallorossi.

On Monday evening, Totti dined at Rinaldi’s in the Quirinale Palace, along with Gian Piero Gasperini and Vincent Candela. During the evening, they discussed not only the team’s technical prospects, but also the nature of a possible role for the number ten. However, the role of representative initially proposed by the club does not seem to fully convince the former captain.

Totti appears intent on avoiding that type of role, mindful of his previous experience in the Giallorossi management, which ended in a controversial departure. He reportedly wants a more operational role, one that will have a greater influence on sporting decisions.

It remains to be seen whether and how the club will decide to make room for Francesco Totti within Roma.
