Roma’s transfer window continues, with Sporting Director Frederic Massara busy redefining Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad.

Following the early termination of Leon Bailey’s loan spell, who returned to Aston Villa, the next player set to leave Trigoria is Kostas Tsimikas.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Roma have already given the green light to the Greek full-back’s return to Liverpool.

The move is closely tied to a transfer window: the Reds are ready to welcome Tsimikas back should Robertson’s move to Tottenham come to fruition.

Although there was no recall clause in the contract, direct contact between the two clubs could resolve the situation, reaching a solution that satisfies all parties involved.

Tsimikas’s time at the Giallorossi therefore appears to be coming to an end.

Massara sees this as part of a targeted reduction strategy, aimed at streamlining the squad and freeing up space for potential additions that are more effective in the second half of the season, whether it’s the league or the Europa League.
