Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic discussed Udinese’s difficult stretch of games to end the season.

The Serbian player spoke in the aftermath of the recent last-minute defeat to Inter and ahead of the upcoming Serie A fixture with Roma.

“Obviously we are hurt by this result, the points were very important to us, but we have to look ahead with our heads held high and do better in the next games.”

“At the last minute we all believed we could equalize. We played with the right attitude, there were two or three minutes left to go, but this is football. Against Roma we must replicate, if not improve, tonight’s performance.”

“Against the Giallorossi it will be another difficult match, but we have always played at our best against the big teams. The goal is always to score points.”
