Verona sporting director Sean Sogliano spoke at a press conference about the latest transfer window for the Gialloblu.
During the presser, Sogliano touched upon Tommaso Baldanzi’s collapsed move to Verona.
“The final days of the transfer window are always quite peculiar, with everyone rushing to get there. We had completed some transfer deals during the week, and then we wanted to see if we could secure Baldanzi, who could be an added value.”
“In the days leading up to the transfer window, there was a good chance of signing him; he was convinced, he was happy to come. The night before the final day of the transfer window, a situation arose that had nothing to do with our club, and so Roma didn’t let the player go out on loan.”
