Former Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini discussed the importance of Jose Mourinho at the club.
In an interview with TeleRadioStereo, Sabatini called Mourinho’s word “sacred.”
“I have had coaches on the bench who have played well and scored many points. Mourinho is scientific in his approach, he is a cold calculator and knows how to win games,” said Sabatini.
“Some of the things he’s said in recent months I wouldn’t have personally let it slide. But, his word is sacred around Rome, whatever he says becomes the law.”
