An MRI revealed no injury, but the staff preferred to manage the load.
Wesley was also absent, having been sidelined with a gastrointestinal issue and therefore absent from the session.
The team will continue with a final training session tomorrow, which will provide further information on the condition of Gian Piero Gasperini’s men ahead of the derby.
