Brazilian fullback Wesley scored his first goal in tonight’s win over Bologna.
At full-time of Roma’s 1-0 victory over Vincenzo Italiano’s men, Wesley said, “It was a truly great evening.”
“I’m so happy to be able to help my teammates. Since I arrived, everyone has believed in my work and helped me. This is a completely new experience for me, but I’m really enjoying it,” he told Sky Sport.
“I’m very happy with this goal. When I arrived here, I saw a lot of videos of these fans, how they celebrate goals, and when I scored, my instinct was to celebrate with them.”
“I dedicate this goal to them, and thank my teammates who welcomed me so warmly.”
