A good debut for Jan Ziolkowski.
The Polish defender, who joined Roma in the final days of the summer transfer window, finally made his official debut for the Giallorossi in the victory against Verona.
In the 71st minute, with Roma up by two goals, Gian Piero Gasperini brought him on for Wesley, with Celik shifted to the wing.
Ziolkowski thus played his first 26 minutes – 19 plus 7 minutes of injury time – in front of the Olimpico crowd.
It was a special moment, which the 2004-born defender shared with his fans in a post on Instagram: “I’m happy to have made my debut at the Olimpico with three points. Forza Roma!”
