Marco Minniti, Interior Minister, after the meeting at the Interior Ministry with Roma and Lazio regarding the barriers has sent a mandate to Franco Gabrielli, head of the Police. These are his words via Agi:
“Build a plan that allows, within a reasonable amount of time, the removal of this partition system (the barriers); but in order to be eligible, (the new plan) keeps the safe conditions of sporting events in a broad and calm manner. The extraordinary measures taken in June 2015 by police have so far produced positive results in terms of safety profile.”
