Gianluca Di Marzio has confirmed the news of the day: Sevilla sporting director, Monchi, will be the new Roma sporting director.
In the British metropolis, Monchi will be present along with the hierarchy of Roma including President James Pallotta, managing director Mauro Baldissoni, the right hand man of Pallotta, Alex Zecca, current sporting director Ricky Massara, and external advisor Franco Baldini. The London meeting will be decisive to close the operation and sign the agreement with Monchi, which will be for three years. After 5 years of Sabatini and a few months of Massara, who will remain on the staff of the club, Roma have decided: the future will be a Spaniard and his name is “Monchi”.
