Sassuolo striker Giacomo Raspadori was all smiles after his late goal earned the Neroverdi a draw against Roma.
The 21 year-old’s goal in the 85th minute prevented the Giallorossi from earning a much-needed victory. The draw potentially signals an end to Roma’s top four aspirations as they failed to win their third straight league fixture.
“What an unforgettable day,” exclaimed Raspadori to Sky Sport.
“We played well and wanted to win, but the point is still a good one. Even though we were missing a number of important players, we were very motivated.”
He added, “We believed all along that we could get something from this game.”
