Roma have opened talks with Atalanta for the transfer of Duvan Zapata.
In recent days Roma have began targeting the Columbian attacker who represents a desirable profile for Mourinho’s side given his veteran status and experience in Serie A.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma are currently in talks with Atalanta for the loan of Zapata ahead of the upcoming season.
The Giallorossi are offering a loan with option to buy, whereas Atalanta want to find a permanent solution for him.
Zapata has been excluded from Gian Piero Gasperini’s plans at Bergamo following the arrival of Gianluca Scamacca.
