Brazilian attacker Marcos Leonardo is pushing to join Roma at all costs.

Negotiations between Roma and Santos have proven to be more difficult than expected due to the turmoil within the Brazilian side’s upper management including sporting coordinator Paulo Roberto Falcao resigning over sexual harassment allegations and head coach Paulo Turra’s being sacked due to poor results on the pitch.

According to calciomercato.it, Leonardo is personally trying to force a move to Roma.

Yesterday, the 20-year-old entered Santos offices and refused to train with the rest of the team. The player personally asked the club’s management to accept Roma’s offer and let him leave.
