Roma are being linked with Leandro Paredes in case of Nemanja Matic’s departure.
Over the last few days, rumors have grown stronger with regards to Matic’s intention to accept a long-term offer from Stade Rennais.
The Serbian midfielder has asked to leave Roma, but the club will not allow him to leave without a concrete proposal from Rennes.
In case Matic were to depart the capital club in the coming days, Roma are evaluating Leandro Paredes as his replacement, reports Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport.
According to Di Marzio, Roma have already contacted Paredes’ entourage. The player is keen on the possibility to return to his former club after having been excluded from Luis Enrique’s plans at PSG.
