Roma are monitoring Nicolo Zaniolo’s imminent transfer to Aston Villa from Galatasaray.
In fact, six months after Zaniolo’s switch to the Turkish giants, Roma could be looking at earning a transfer sum thanks to the sell-on clause that was included in the initial deal with Galatasaray.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Zaniolo will join Aston Villa on loan with a buy option worth €22 million for a total package of €27 million.
Thus, Roma are expected to earn a fixed fee of €2 million plus 20% of the buy option which could potentially amount to €4.1 million.
